Cold eye, look in your heart !

Reason or irrationality? This has been an issue throughout human civilisation. This dispute came into focus most after the Age of Enlightenment with the birth of Romanticism. “Cold Eye” is the jazz interpretation of the dawning of Romanticism by the Polish master Adam Mickiewicz.
His “Ballades and Romances” published 200 years ago inspired the renowned musicians to create musical landscapes exploring these poems. Their interpretations show that “Ballades and Romances” are 200 years young.
